Owner, BA, EA
For nearly 17 years, Gisele served as a first responder for local law enforcement agencies. She holds an AS degree in Criminal Justice Technology from the College of Central Florida and a BA in Professional and Technical Communication from the University of South Florida.
As an Enrolled Agent (EA), she is licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS. The prestigious EA designation is earned by passing a challenging and comprehensive three-part IRS exam covering individual and business tax returns. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.
Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
Gisele is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals, TaxProfessionals.com, and the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce.
Geoffrey served his country for over 20 years; first in the US Navy, and later as a Correctional Officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. His experiences in this environment provide a unique skill set suited to office management.
Geoffrey has over nine years of experience in payroll management, where he was responsible for coordinating the monthly payroll for over 1500 individuals. He also coordinates a financial responsibility program where he provides mentoring and outreach to over 700 individuals.
Geoffrey’s diverse abilities make him the ideal choice to manage First Response Tax Service. It also helps that he works for free because he and Gisele are married.
